Horizon is proud to use soy-based inks for its printed packaging. Soy ink is made from soybeans, and is accepted as a more environmentally friendly as compared to traditional petroleum-based ink. Moreover, owing to the benefit of increased ink coverage that soy inks provide over petroleum-based inks, we’ve been able to reduce the amount of ink we consume.
